After multiple doors opening, Tidy Tabs was created and has influenced more than just my business but also my life. Earlier in the year I had been through a serious car accident that led me to live with my parents for 4 months. During this time, my parents pushed me to fight for who I wanted to become. I remember the Olympics were on that year and my step dad and I watched it every night. I couldn’t help but to admire the drive and motivation of these athletes. I sat there feeling as though in a way I could relate to them. Every day was a new hurdle for me to jump and overcome yet I was still driven and motivated to better myself.  Later, my step dad paused the television and turned to me asking what I wanted to do with my life. My response was unsure, but I knew I wanted to do something different. My mom suggested I call the people I cleaned for prior to the accident and mentioned that maybe I could start a cleaning business. I said, “Yeah, you think I could actually do it though?” My step dad then stated that I could do anything I put my mind to. After saying this he went straight to the computer and created my Facebook business page. While deciding the name of my business we became very indecisive, all I knew was that I wanted my name in it. So we began with my initials, Tj’s cleaning service, but I didn’t think it sounded catchy enough. So onto the next one, Tidy Tj’s, but still it didn’t sound right. I said, “Well everybody calls me Tab!” Then a light bulb went off, my mom said, “how about Tidy Tabs?” We all loved it, and my mom even came up with a slogan, “We clean your home like we clean our own.” Following this, I posted on Facebook that in three months I would be ready to take more clients on, and that is when my business took off.
